Meals & Health
Meals are often plentiful and varied.
It is customary to leave a tip of 10% of the bill.
You must be up to date with the following vaccinations : Covid, DTP (polio) and MMR (measles).
It may be recommended - depending on visits - to be up to date with the following vaccinations: typhoid, viral hepatitis (A, B), bacterial meningitis.
In some areas of Rwanda, malaria, dengue fever, rabies, meningitis, cholera and typhoid fever have been reported.
Regarding sexually transmitted diseases, it is recommended to take all the usual precautions in this area and to avoid risky behavior.
